QR Coder

A compact browser utility for creating, customising and exporting QR codes, designed and built in the Jadyn lab.

01 / the brief

One code or a whole batch.

A single QR code is a small task. A list of different links adds repetition, file handling and room for mistakes. QR Coder gives both jobs a home in one interface.

Keep input, colour, preview and export close together, with a separate batch flow for larger lists.

relationship
A small in-house utility built and maintained under Jadyn Design Lab.
scope
product design · web development · interaction design

02 / the approach

how we shaped the work.

  1. Place the preview alongside URL or phone input and colour controls.

  2. Offer PNG, JPG, PDF and SVG exports directly from the generated code.

  3. Extend the same interaction to lists, with duplicate removal and a bulk PNG download.

03 / design decisions

Input. Preview. Export.

The code sits beside the controls that shape it. Colour changes and export choices stay within the same compact workspace.

Built for the second code, too.

Batch input accepts one item per line and removes duplicates before generation. A bulk download and recent-code history keep repeat work within reach.

04 / what we delivered

from the brief to the finished work.

Single and bulk QR generation, colour controls, four export formats, code history and light and dark themes.

A live browser tool that takes a URL, phone number or list through to a downloadable QR code.
